Please help Support our Globeville Migrant Community This Winter!
Winter is upon us, and as the temperature drops, so does the comfort and warmth for many in our community. Join Denver Food Rescue in our Winter Basic Needs Drive as we rally to support the Globeville Migrant Community. Your generosity can significantly impact the lives of those who need it most.
How to Participate: From now until December 6th, we invite you to contribute to our Winter Basic Needs Drive by donating essential items at our drop-off location: 3840 York St #250, Denver, Colorado. Our doors are open for donations between 11 am and 3 pm. Additionally, you can drop off items at any Denver Heyday Skincare location.
Items Needed:
- Winter Clothes for All Ages and Sizes (Coats, Sweaters, Gloves, Socks, Scarves)
- Unused Personal Care Products (Diapers, Maxi Pads, Tampons, Shampoo, Toothpaste)
Your Contribution Matters: Your donated items will directly impact the Globeville Migrant Community, providing warmth, comfort, and essential personal care products during the winter months. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and create a community where everyone feels supported and cared for. Be among the first 30 people to stop by Cohesion Brewery with a donation; your first beer is on us! It’s our way of saying thank you for being a part of this meaningful cause. While you enjoy your complimentary pint, take the opportunity to learn more about Denver Food Rescue’s work and discover ways to get involved in supporting our community.
Spread the Word: Help us spread the warmth by sharing this Winter Basic Needs Drive with your friends, family, and colleagues. Every contribution counts, and your support can inspire others to join this meaningful cause. We aim to collect $5000 worth of new, unopened personal care products and 500 new or unwanted coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, and socks. All donations will directly benefit recently arrived migrant families, children, and adults who are part of the Birdseed Collective’s no-cost grocery program in the Globeville neighborhood.

Heart & Hand
As one of the most well-known youth organizations in the country, Boys & Girls Clubs provide young people with The Cope Club serves nearly 1,000 members each year and participates in a variety of community events. The Club also features the Teen Center equipped with computer stations, books and research resources, and serves as a quiet place for teens to concentrate on their studies and have fun. They have had a No Cost Grocery Program since 2015.
As one of the most well-known youth organizations in the country, Boys & Girls Clubs provide young people with opportunities to engage in programs that help them achieve academic success, take charge of their health by building healthy habits that will stick with them throughout their lives, and foster the skills they need to become leaders in their communities.
